OnePlus lags in fixing the data connection issues of its latest rollouts

It’s been a long time users reported issues with the latest smartphones rolled out by OnePlus. Still, the company has not made up to the mark efforts to resolve the data connection problems faced by the customers. OnePlus smartphones collect the personal information of the user including contact numbers, email addresses, passwords, IMEIs and information of different applications to which user signs in.

This isn’t really very disturbing? OnePlus has made some improvements. Now, it tracks the user information but simultaneously notifies you regarding this. OnePlus works harder to keep its client data private and safe.

It collects two important user’s information. First its measures the usage analytics for improving the smartphone behavior and offer better OS to the users i.e. Oxygen OS. At the second stage, it obtains device information. Collecting device information helps in providing a better support to the users after they purchase the product. The company never links the usage analytics data with the device information.

Perhaps, the company doesn’t share this information with any of the third parties. It collects this vital information to improve and meet user experience and product offerings. It also offers better OS to the users i.e. Oxygen OS.

Company announces to roll out its user experiences program in October. It will send a confirmation to the user if they are interested in joining the program. The applications user agreement gives the detailed information about the analytics collection.

With a better improvement, OnePlus no more collects user’s personal information such as phone numbers, Wi-Fi information or MAC addresses. Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus did not summarize so as to why this information was previously collected or why company initially did not inform users regarding this defect.

OnePlus did not leave an option for users to delete their personal data from the company’ server or analyze what type of user’s personal data it has collected. Due to this unusual defect, many of the OnePlus users are not satisfied with the service.
